Why did you decide to serve the mission at Farm of the Child?
During my college years, I felt the Lord calling me to missions after graduation.  I desired to work in a place where I would be able to love others through service, share my faith, and live in community.  The Finca has one of the most beautiful missions that I have ever come across and I feel so blessed to have been called to live and work there.

What do you hope to experience through your ministry at Farm of the Child?
I am confidant that the Farm will be a place where I am challenged in the work I will do.  I hope to increase my knowledge of social justice and the plight of the poor.  I also hope to form deep relationships with the entire Finca family and surrounding community, especially the children.

What are you most excited about/nervous for as you prepare to arrive at the Farm?
As I prepare, I am most nervous about my language skills and ability to communicate.  However, I know that the Lord will equip me because He has called me to this mission.  Thus, I am mostly excited about meeting the children and joining a wonderful family who will pray together, love each other and serve the Lord.
