Alba’s father left her family several years ago to find work in San Pedro Sula, the second largest city in Honduras. He helps to support her and her siblings by sending money back to her mom. Alba’s mom, Irma, helps to support the family by washing clothes for other families, including for the volunteers at the Farm.
